I would like to invite you to the next PsyPub on 3rd May. We will be focusing our discussion on parental mental health and how organisations can better support the new parents.
We are very luck to have Michaela Thomas who is a clinical psychologist that specialises in parental mental health.
PsyPub brings together Psychologists, HR and L&D together to learn from each other.
We will discuss the impact on the couples relationship when you have a baby, and the importance of self-care and self-compassion in the tricky times of parenthood. Also we will be touching on the role of HR and what can be done to make the transition smoother from parental leave to being back at work
Michaela is an experienced Clinical Psychologist, Couples Therapist and Mum of a sleep refusing toddler, on a mission to help more people perform better without the pressure of perfection. Her own postnatal experience sparked her interest in parental mental health and lead to the contribution of the recently released app Nourish, for postnatal mums. Michaela is also writing a book on couples and compassion, called The Lasting Connection (released in Autumn 2020).
Feel free to invite friends and family.
Please join us from 6pm onwards for an evening of fascinating discussions and wisdom and beer at the Yorkshire Grey 2 Theobald’s Road
Near Chancery Lane Station
